We have a few more pictures from Rhiannon's "real" birthday on Tuesday. She got lots of amazing gifts and she thanks everyone, even though she refuses to get on the phone and call. She had a special day at school Tuesday and they made her a birthday crown, gave her a birthday balloon, and she even got to share brownies with the class.

Barbie was a major theme this year.

Brad was the first to taste test the brownies. He approved.

Rhiannon blowing out her candles again. She got them all in one breath!

Rhiannon playing dress up and Brad as a skeleton. They have such fun together now.

We kick off the Halloween festivities this afternoon and have several parties and trick or treat opportunities between now and next week. I am sure we'll have tons of photos to show. Brad is going to be a pirate and Rhi is going to be Princess Aurora. The other night Brad was playing with Rhi and licking her toes. Every time we laughed, he got excited and did it again. I caught the tail end of it on video.

Saturday we had a joint birthday party for Rhiannon and one of her friends. She had a princess cake of course. Princesses seem to be the latest obsession and she is going as a princess for Halloween. The kids had a great time and Brad was right there at the cake table on his tippy toes trying to see what all the fuss was about. He thoroughly enjoyed his piece.

Rhiannon's favorite gift was her camera and she has not stopped taking photos of her princess figures. I think a few of the cat and Brad made it onto the camera. She also got a princess crown and gloves, a ballerina barbie, and a Dora puzzle. She loves puzzles too and is quite good at them.

The kids tried to be patient waiting for me to cut the cake...

I tried to be patient too!

Minus a few messes and sugar highs, it was a great party and definitely a good idea to share it with another friend. The adults had fun too and at the end of the day, the kids crashed into bed exhausted and happy, which is all you can really ask for anyway.

On a last note, Brad cut 4 molars this week and it has not been pretty. He also stood up today from the middle of the floor without holding on to anything. Go Brad!

We took the kids and went with some friends to Blackwater River State Park on Sunday and went river tubing. We had a blast. The water was a bit chilly at first but not too deep and Rhiannon "swam" the whole time. Brad pretty much just napped...

Rhiannon is all geared up.

Brad is relaxing in a bulky life jacket and tube.

Brad on the beach with Daddy enjoying a mouthful of sand.

Brad on the beach with Mom trying to get the sand out of his mouth!

Mom and Rhi pose for the camera.

Rhi showing off her new Big Bird floatie.

Brad sleeping as usual. It was a four mile trip that took us about 3 hours and he slept for most of that. What a great kid!

The two crazy parents who dragged their kids river tubing. We are already talking about doing it again in early November and adding camping in tents on the beach to the package. Now that will be an interesting venture.

Rhiannon's birthday party is coming up this weekend and we ordered her a Disney Princess cake. She is obsessed with princesses and is most definitely dressing up as Aurora for Halloween. After we give her the digital camera we got for her birthday, I'm sure we'll be featuring some of her great photography on the site.

Brad's surgery is coming up in a month and we are also having him evaluated for developmental delays. In the week since his last doctor visit, he has starting walking almost exclusively and attempting to say necklace. At least I think he's trying to say that. Hopefully the evaluation will be all for nothing as he appears to be making a lot of progress so cross your fingers for us.

This past weekend we had a great time shopping with cousin Nikki and Jim went to the biker rally in Panama City Beach. Rhiannon loves his motorcycle when it's not running and loves to sit on it. She also loves hanging out with her cousin Nikki.

Yesterday was a turning point for Brad because he started walking more than he doesn't. It's also very hard to get pictures of him walking because he launches himself forward as fast as he can blurring the photo.

Here we are all ready for Monday Night Football. We love the Patriots!!

Hope everyone is having a great fall. It is still very warm here but we are getting the house cooled off over night and I am trying to keep the AC off now. Haha! Here is another picture of the great fall sunsets here on the beach. We had a picnic dinner out there last week and it was such a fun time for us.
