London Town...

As many of you know, we were fortunate to see the Patriots play the Bucs this season in the International Series football game at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Nothing better than seeing our team (for me it was my first live football game), win in another country. Believe it or not, this is the closest we've been to where they've played during the last few seasons because of our many moves and the Patriots' changing roster. The Bucs treated it as their home game and left flags in every stadium seat. It soured my mood a little...We also took a sheet and made a sign hoping to get on tv. It didn't happen this time but we got a fantastic picture of us with it and the whole stadium in the background.
During our down time we took the Tube into the city center and did a little sightseeing. We went out the first night in Covent Garden and the next day did the bus tour based out of Trafalgar Square. From the bus we saw all the main sights like Big Ben, London Bridge, Parlaiment, etc. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit them all properly but we did get to see the changing of the guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace just before we left to come home. London is a huge city with lots of cool areas to visit and this trip has given us a good preparation for next time we go there. Enjoy the pictures...

Looks like fun! Alex got to go when the Dolphins had a "home game" there against the Giants a few years ago. If we were married at the time I would have been able to go also. You know nothing cool like that is going to happen now that we are Mr and Mrs!
Hey that looks like a good time!! A walk through McDonald huh how does that work? Glad you got to go to a Patriot game sweet!
