Barcelona

Sunday we spent the day in Barcelona. The hop on hop off buses are the best way to see everything. It was a beautifully hot day and we got sun and a breeze from the Mediterranean on the bus tour. Of course we ate lunch at the Hard Rock, saw the Olympic stadium, and some of Gaudi's buildings. The architecture and layout of the streets is very much like that of Paris. We finished out the day at Port Vell, where the cruise ships come and go and there is a large shopping and eating area. Back in Tossa by nightfall we enjoyed a few last pitchers of sangria before coming home to Germany. And just like that, it is July! Hope to see you all in a few weeks.

Tossa de Mar, Espana

Last weekend I went on a girls' trip with my friend Nicole and her cousin Elizabeth to Spain. We stayed in beautiful Tossa de Mar about an hour northeast of Barcelona. Not much for words on this trip...lots of pretty sights and topless sunbathing (not so pretty) and delicious Sangria. It is a country I have always wanted to visit and I will definitely go back. I loved it!
