I love Ryanair. I love Europe. I love how we could fly to Pisa for the price of a family dinner out, spend 2 and 1/2 days in Italy and cram in three cities (well technically 7 cities) taking over 700 pictures and enjoying the balmy Mediterranean coastal weather. Just wait til you get to day 3. A last minute itinerary change proved to be one of the best places we've seen in Europe thus far. This was a perfect end of summer trip! And as a bonus, I got special driving lessons from a very patient husband (not his car) and managed to navigate us through a very busy city center without stalling out once! Although squealing the tires and rolling backwards on a hill was pretty much the end of my rope for the day. Don't worry. I won't post all 700 pictures here but there will be a lot...you can tell we loved this place!
Day 1/2...Pisa
Yeah we were those people posing holding up the tower, etc. Thought it was funny that we got so many other people posing that way too, but from a different angle they just look really silly!
Back to Camp Darby we went, to prepare for our first full day in Italy in the (previously unimpressive) city of Florence! Maybe it's because last time I was stuck in stuffy museums and lines all over the place in cold rainy weather, but I loved Florence much better this time around. How weird that I was there ten years ago and this weekend I was standing in some of the exact same places as before, seeing some of the exact same things, only this time I was there with my family...who didn't exist ten years ago...wow!

Love the pictures! I think it's funny you took one of all the other people doing it. Italy...man, I'm jealous!
